Currently, our ophthalmic surgeons, together with invited professors from India, perform surgical procedures of any level of complexity.
These are microinvasive procedures, minimizing trauma to the patient. The most modern ultrasound equipment is used for the fastest and highest-quality lens (cataract) removal, preserving the lens capsule for full artificial lens implantation. Most surgeries are performed sutureless with self-sealing incisions of about one millimeter. All procedures are virtually painless, rarely cause complications, and in most cases do not require general anesthesia.
