Medical care for certain diseases (diabetes, mental illnesses, tuberculosis, AIDS, etc.) is provided by the state, so it is not covered by VHI. Also, you will not receive compensation if you were intoxicated or intentionally harmed your health. The insurance payment goes directly to the clinic.
