AKFA Medline — Official Medical Partner of MANGU 5 at Humo Arena

AKFA Medline — Official Medical Partner of MANGU 5 at Humo Arena

AKFA Medline once again served as the official medical partner of MANGU League, providing comprehensive medical support at the MANGU 5 professional MMA tournament held at Humo Arena in Tashkent. The AKFA Medline medical team was responsible for monitoring and supporting the fighters throughout the entire event — before entering the octagon, during the fights, and immediately after each bout.A team of five AKFA Medline doctors was deployed at MANGU 5. Throughout the tournament, the medical team remained close to the octagon and was ready to provide immediate assistance whenever required.During the event, AKFA Medline doctors entered the octagon nearly 30 times to assess fighters and provide medical assistance. The injuries varied in type and severity. Some fighters required immobilization and casts, while others received treatment and sutures for cuts and lacerations. When more extensive medical evaluation was required, fighters were immediately transported by the ambulance stationed at the arena to AKFA Medline for further diagnostics and specialized medical care.Medical checks before and after every fightThe work of the medical team began well before the first fight.Upon arriving at the arena, fighters underwent an initial medical assessment by AKFA Medline specialists. Their key health indicators, including blood pressure, pulse and body temperature, were checked. Before entering the octagon, the fighters’ condition was assessed once again.Following each bout, every fighter underwent another medical examination. Doctors evaluated their general condition, checked for injuries and determined whether further diagnostics or treatment were required.Medical support begins before the tournamentThe partnership between AKFA Medline and MANGU League extends far beyond medical coverage on the day of the competition. Before the tournament, fighters undergo medical check-ups at AKFA Medline, allowing specialists to assess their health before they participate in professional MMA bouts.Medical support also continues after the event. In the days following the tournament, fighters can return to AKFA Medline for follow-up examinations, diagnostic procedures, specialist consultations and further treatment when required. This creates a comprehensive medical support system for professional fighters:pre-tournament medical check-up → medical monitoring at the arena → assistance during the fight → post-fight examination → follow-up diagnostics and treatment.“The health and safety of our athletes is a priority”Jasur Alijanov, President of MANGU League, emphasized the importance of professional medical support for the fighters:“MANGU League takes the health and safety of our athletes very seriously. That is why it is extremely important for us to have a medical partner capable of providing professional support at every stage — before, during and after the tournament.AKFA Medline provides exactly this level of comprehensive medical support. I would like to thank the clinic for its professionalism, responsibility and commitment to our fighters. We highly value this partnership and plan to continue holding future MANGU League tournaments together with AKFA Medline.”For AKFA Medline, participation in MANGU 5 represents more than a partnership with a professional sports organization — it is a commitment to protecting the health and safety of athletes competing at the highest level. As the official medical partner of MANGU League, AKFA Medline will continue to provide comprehensive medical support for professional MMA fighters.

“Sen Yashaysan”: Supporting Children with Congenital Heart Defects

“Sen Yashaysan”: Supporting Children with Congenital Heart Defects

“Sen Yashaysan” is a charitable program of AKFA MEDLINE dedicated to supporting children with congenital heart defects from families in need of social assistance. The program has been running since 2017. Since its launch, more than 700 surgical procedures have been provided free of charge to children with congenital heart defects at the clinic. Behind every operation is a child’s story, a family’s hope, and the dedicated work of a medical team. More than 700 operations represent hundreds of young hearts that have been given a new opportunity to grow, develop, and live a fuller life.An expert team of pediatric cardiac surgeons plays a central role in the program. The specialists provide consultations, assess each child’s condition, review diagnostic findings, determine whether surgical treatment is indicated, and select the most appropriate treatment strategy for each patient. Additional diagnostic examinations are arranged when necessary. The medical team supports the child throughout all key stages of care — from the initial consultation and preoperative preparation to surgery and subsequent follow-up.As part of the “Sen Yashaysan” program, the clinic provides free consultations every month for children with diagnosed or suspected congenital heart defects. Parents may seek a consultation if their child has already received a diagnosis, has been advised to undergo surgery, or has symptoms or examination results that require assessment by a pediatric cardiac surgeon. The main purpose of these consultations is to determine in a timely manner whether the child requires surgical treatment, further diagnostic evaluation, or ongoing medical follow-up. The program is not limited to Tashkent. AKFA MEDLINE specialists conduct free outreach consultations across different regions of Uzbekistan, helping make specialized medical care more accessible to families who may find it difficult to travel to the capital. During these visits, pediatric cardiac surgeons examine children and review their medical records and diagnostic results. When appropriate, patients may be referred for further evaluation and considered for free surgical treatment within the program. When necessary, the medical team can also travel to remote areas of the country.Under the “Sen Yashaysan” program, AKFA MEDLINE provides free surgical treatment for children under the age of 15 with congenital heart defects who meet the program’s medical and social eligibility criteria. Each case is reviewed individually. The decision regarding the need for surgery is made by specialists based on the child’s diagnosis, clinical condition, and examination results. The program covers more than the surgical procedure itself. The child’s inpatient stay, meals during hospitalization, and the opportunity for one parent to stay with the child in the hospital are also included in the program. This helps ensure that the child receives the necessary care while remaining supported by their family throughout the treatment period. For AKFA MEDLINE, “Sen Yashaysan” is more than a charitable initiative. It is a long-term program that brings together professional medical care, the expertise of pediatric cardiac surgeons, and support for families who need timely access to specialized treatment. To learn more about eligibility for the program, schedule a free consultation with a pediatric cardiac surgeon, or obtain information about the required documents and examinations, parents can contact the AKFA MEDLINE Call Center.Address: Farobiy 5A, Kichik Halqa Yuli, Almazar District, TashkentCall Center: +998 71 203-30-03 — available 24/7When contacting the Call Center, simply inform the specialist that your inquiry concerns the “Sen Yashaysan” program.
