The provision of medical care for groups of diseases (diabetes mellitus, mental illness, tuberculosis, AIDS, etc.) is the responsibility of the state itself, therefore the provision of assistance under VHI is not provided. Under the VHI insurance policy, you will not receive compensation if at the time of the insured event you were under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you deliberately caused harm to your health. The insurance amount is not paid to the client, but is transferred to the account of the medical institution.
Not all diseases are treated under VHI. There are diseases that the policy does not cover – diabetes, mental illness, tuberculosis, AIDS, etc.
